help hanging tools for display

ive looked threw and searched threads and gave up.. What is the best looking way to hang some old wrenches, pliers, etc. on the walls or ceiling besides a nail or screw and help is grateful

i used pegboard & wire ties. space the pegboard 1/4" from wall to enable the ties to go behind it.

I just put a triplay board on the wall and used screws on it… to enhance the board a bit i covered it with a perforated metal sheet which also serves as a guide for positioning the screws.

It´s a relatively inexpensive solution, looks ok and does the job.

Same thing I was considering a few weeks back. All my tool boxes had drawers full of stuff I never or rarely use. I just started using everything I had laying around to fasten everything to the wall. I just made sure everything was mounted good enough to not get knocked off or blown off when I do my leaf blower cleaning. There is a lot more on display since this pic was taken. It's a work in progress.
It's what I call the "sock drawer of the garage".:)
