Listed as a toolbox on Craigslist.

Owner says it's metal and 'heavy duty', and ~5 feet tall. It's a good price, and I'm interested, but it's also about an 80 mile drive to get, so I can't just pop over for a look see.

Anybody familiar? Looks like it may be a medical cabinet, maybe?

I believe it's a locking computer desk/cabinet. Does the section above the drawers slide out?

I'm not sure. It does look like there may be outlets in there, which would be great for cordless tool battery chargers.

I would grab that in a minute.

If you use the center area for chargers, be sure to leave the door OPEN if they are plugged in and working!

It looks like something one of the manufacturers of office furniture might of made, specifically because of the drawer handles. It may still be heavy duty though. I would think it might have been geared to something like record keeping, maybe for hospital or office use.

Agree with the office furniture background. I kinda doubt if it is super heavy, because the "feet" are pretty small. IIRC the max for standard loading is ~50psi. So.... Don't think I would drive 80m for it. I do like the roll down door, just not sure how well it would work for the shop.
