"Jack" is not a genre our friend at
Alloy-Artifacts focuses on. Jethro at
wrenchwiki has a smattering of information on his site. It's a genre I just recently focused on to get the patent information up on
datamp.org, but unfortunately I have found there is a dearth of information available on the web.
International Tool Catalog Library does have some resource material available.
I have harvested thousands of catalog pages and magazine ads from the web, and started to post some until I realized I'd be here all day and it would still be a needle-in-a-haystack/process-of-elimination search.
Can you see if you can get more information off that brass plate? Hold it in different light? Pour some water or other liquid on it to see if you can make out any detail?
I'm somewhat at a loss on this one.
