Help ID Stone Veneer

Is it natural or synthetic stone? It looks like what is referred to around here as "Carolina flat stone" May different colors, shapes and sizes available. I have a whole pile of it at my house that I am going to put on the block foundation someday.

There are literally 100's of companies that make "cultured stone". If it's the real deal, check around your local area for stone dealers. Shipping stone long distances gets expensive; it could be something local.

hard to tell from a photo without being able to see the grain and minerals but it looks like a weathered granite fieldstone veneer (top). Or Blue Fieldstone (bottom).

Are you asking because you have that on an existing house and are trying to match it, or do a repair?
If so, your best resource for figuring out things like this is to contact the builder who built your house. If you don't know who that is, do the legwork, and find out...Most builders (the good ones, anyway) keep records.
Another resource would be to find distributors of stone veneers in your local area, there is a good chance that the materials were sourced from one of them.

That looks like 20th century stonework. Probably sourced relatively locally. Take some close-ups and then visit the local quaries to match your stone.

Out here we call that Bouquet Canyon stone.

In this area the builders use mostly Owens Corning Cultured Stone, and its on our house. Looks VERY similar http://www.culturedstone.com/
