Help ID this mystery collet...

This collet holder was bolted to a faceplate that came with my lathe.





In it, was this 1/2" collet. It is stamped on its face with "1/2" on one side, and another stamp opposite that is a "T" and a number that was obliterated when the slot was cut...



I measured it...



The closest thing I could find to it is a Swiss TF24. I found a 7/16" one on eBay for $14 shipped, so it's on the way. I think it will work.

Anybody have any idea what it really is?

Not a ton of info out there about them. Hardinge still sells collets, bet you don't want to know what they cost.

Yeah, I found the TF24 there... The dimensions on the B&S #11 do not match mine. It's bigger...

The dimensions in the Hardinge catalog line up with a #00 or #10 size B&S collet.

The 00 is .686 were mine is .937...
The 10 may work... It's .936 but it's shorter, which may not be a problem. Hmmm. Back to eBay...
