It looks like the Walden 4050 3/8-Drive Ratchet because the selector is the same, but has no knurling or markings. I found an early JH Williams S-51 also.

It probably is Walden. I've seen them marked as such but without knurling.
It and your Williams are old school coarse tooth but still good ratchets.
I wouldn't even mind having to flip the ratchet and push the plug through because most of what I've done lately are simple jobs with only a few fasteners.
Edit: oops the s50 has a push plug. S51 is reversible .
I've had several of the Stevens/Walden with that type of mechanism. They sometimes have issues with the peg that pushes the pawl to the side loosening, so it can't push the pawl out of the way. One time I fixed one with a zip tie around the peg, so it would push the pawl over farther.
