Supposed to be going to get this stuff tomorrow. He wants $120 for everything in the picture, the two boxes, the wrenches, the sockets, etc.

I really just want the top box especially seeing as it is a Snap On and I could restore (assuming not busted in anyway) it. I'm hoping the wrenches/sockets are quality stuff as well.

In any case, please help me ID this box. Trying to search but not having much luck!

FWIW, I've got one of those top boxes in about the same condition. Without the Snap-on logo on it, you wouldn't give it a second look. They're pretty small.

It's a late, very late, 1950's snap on KR-53. Kinda of a small box IMHO. Agree with Jack, unless you really need a small box or you like that specific one OR if it comes with a bunch of valuable tools, I would pass. It doesn't look to be in that great of condition considering the price.

They were designed as a portable box, not really a main, sit ontop of a bottom box.

OK, I guess Ill go and check it out. If the wrenches/sockets of are good quality tools than perhaps I will take it. I really just need the top box for sockets. Everything else I have in my bottom box/on shelves. I'm just your every day DIYer.

He also said he would give me a 20" piece of rail track to use as an anvil. Not sure if that is worth anything though.
