Help - Ideas for filtering cleaning solution

I'm looking for suggestions for filtering my ultrasonic cleaning solution on a regular basis. I get an accumulation of grease that I want to filter out. I've tried coffee filters but it clog too fast and wont filter fast enough. I'm filtering about 3/4 of a gallon.
BTW I would want it to be very economical (like coffee filters) as I am needing to clean this weekly.

Find a diesel repair shop nearbby and look at the various air filters they change. Some have a screw hole to block off. No big deal.

Wash throughly with water to get out the dust of the miles and dry completely before use. It should last years in a home shop. The bigger it is the more time it will remain useful. Let it clog up some, the slower it runs the more filter effect it is having.

I used to make biodiesel. You can buy filter bags that will go down to 5 microns or so, but it is slow and cumbersome. Company I dealt with was Utah Biodiesel Supply, not sure if they're even around now. I also had a dual filter setup, one was a spin on filter for auto transmissions (can't remember the name) I got through JEGS, the other was a hydraulic filter, Donaldson. had two 50 gal drums and would filter between the two for hours, It was driven by a 1/2 horse motor that ran a gear pump. This would be overkill for 3/4 gal though. Some guys also did the same with home water filters, and some used centrifuges. Again, overkill, but might give you some ideas.

Also might try letting it separate into layers, pour it into a tall 4" pipe with a petcock at the bottom, let it separate overnight, drain from the bottom of the pip. discard the first little bit (settled out particulates and sludge) keep the middle portion (nice clear solution) and discard the last part (grease floating on top.)

A clear plastic pipe would work best, let you see what you are getting.
