I have 2 tools that I've had for 34 years. They belonged to my father who was a mechanic.
Don't know how long he had them.

Any help appreciated.

Thanks

The first is a classic hand drill, but I don’t know who may have manufactured it. There isn’t any ID tag? The second tool is a sheet metal shear, and may have been made by Stanley, although there were certainly other manufacturers. I just recently picked up a Stanley No. 8 shear. It can handle up to 8 gage steel, and is surprisingly quiet.

Thanks for your reply.

I looked again on the drill for identifying marks and found none.
My eye sight right now is extremely limited and I'm using a variety of magnifying glasses to
read anything.

The sheet metal shear has the following tag.

I think scintilla rolled into the Bosch family at some point. Swiss made should be decent.
