An old Snap On tool chest but I couldnt find any numbers on it. From the little bit of research ive done online Snap On didnt stamp their tool boxes before 1959? Not sure if its true or not, any of you guys know?
Also have a 3 drawer mid box, not sure if its Snap On but it sure looks like it. The slides are identical to the top box. The handles are def different tho, more of a 2 piece cheap style handle, maybe replacement handles. Has the following information stamped on the back:
Metal Box + Cab't Corp
Chicago, IL
Made in the USA 67
C-43
5405
Then the bottom cabinet, very heavy gauge metal, very well put together from the looks of it. Cant find any stampings, the locking mechanism on the lock above the handle says Yale Made in the USA. The wheel/caster setup appears to have been welded on and they have "Evansville, IND USA Noelting Faultless" on the casters. The inside of the box appears to have been a dark olive green color. Well what do you guys think? Any information you guys might have is appreciated. Thanks for looking.
