Help identify a tool

Can anyone here help me to identify what this tool is and what it's purpose in life would be:headscrat :confused:
Any info or directions on how it is used this odd looking thing would be much appreciated.

the tool is used to unlock the maze to the Unico vault deep under the Amazon river, like Indiana Jones you have to embark on a quest solving ancient riddles and use this key when needed*

*May not be true :lol:

Looks like some sort of old priinting machine tool

It looks like a valve wrench, kinda like the ones for opening the valves on welding gas tanks. Just a wild *** guess though.

There is a Unico in New Jersey that makes laboratory equipment. Don't know if it's the same company.

Years ago used to work for home heating oil co. Looks to me like the key used to open the screw in cover for the oil tank fill.

Quite possible, The stamping on this is from Elizabeth N.J. company name Unico.

Bung wrench. The recesses in caps on steel and plastic barrels vary. The threaded hole there are in, since it's a barrel, are called bungs. This tool will take out many varities of plugs.

Both of these answers are correct. Not a tool that most of us have a need for, but if you need to use one it will make the job a lot easier.

Thanks guys you rock!! Yet another reason why I love this place.
I would have to say judging by the photo and the fluting on this tool it is more a match to 14-6 though.
