Help identify craftsman top chest

Hello I need some help identifying my craftsman top chest so I can replace the missing lock , i did find what I believe was the serial number tag but it was spray painted black along with the rest of the box. If anyone can help it'd be very much appreciated.

I don't believe that uses a unique lock - any Craftsman tool chest lock should fit that.

you can find a lock for that at Home Depot for $5. It will be similar to the lock on your bottom box, with maybe a different fitting on the back of the lock. They have a few styles to choose from.

Sears should still have the packs of replacement locks in store, so you could have a matching set for the top and bottom.

I think i would get the craftsman locks simply so i would only have to worry about one key to keep track of.
