I got this old drill press recently. I have been trying to identify who made it and how old it is. The woman I got it from said it was used by her husband’s grandfather and his dad but he had no use for it.
I can’t find any identifying marks on it except worn off paint on the front that looks like it may have started with a D. The motor is an old Delco that may not be original.

I have looked at several images on OWWM and the closest I find is Duro / Wards. They have similar motor attachments and general shape. I can’t find one that has graduates on the quill that you see from the front like this one has.
It has some run out and the build quality is OK but not great however it is the quietest drill I have ever heard. It will only see work in the woodshop.

Here are some images. Let me know your thoughts
