Can anyone help identify this air/fluid quick connect standard?
Origin I believe is Italy.
I thought perhaps V-style but then I looked at more and more photos online and second guessing that. Are there minor variations within a standard? Can multiple V-style look a little different?

I have some calipers if any of you need a definite measure to confirm something

Thanks all!

hey man, thanks
I think you might of nailed it
but wtf? I am looking all over and would not have come up with series 21? I dont even know what that means? Is is just the branding of Parker as a kleenex is to tissues?
it does make sense because this goes to low pressure fluid application...vacuum bleed suspension

there are numerous pages on link you gave. Any insight to the threads on other side of my fitting? at first I thought M10 x 1.0
but its more like 9 point something...

then I thought BSPP or BSPT?? they look straight or parallel so that is BSPP. but now I do not think that either of those.

this?

but mine is 13mm hex and about 26mm long. way different than the specs above

so all I know is I have a plug of series 21?

I am getting a facial twitch over this.

anyone try to help me figure out the threaded side? it is close to M10 x 1.0 but not..I don't believe. They look straight and not taper. My good calipers say about 9.49mm on the outside of threads

DN5 is the "standard". Every company has their own product line that it's compatible with. Parker 21, Camozzi 5000, etc.

I would wager the threads are BSPP.

As an Italian I am sorry... 😃

I found this

I think what I have is trade size BSP 1/8. My threads look straight so I guess BSPP M1/8

If you look at top row, you can see diameter right about 9.55 mm and pitch close to 1 mm

my thread checkers are only SAE and metric. But my M10 x 1.0 was feeling like it was a fit and almost tricked me...probably because dimensions close on thread

So in summary, it appears I have a Rectus Series 21 plug with male BSPP M1/8 threads ?

I still have a facial twitch of frustration. Could someone that knows more about these confirm I probably have this correct?

Must have missed reading this. 3/8 BSPP for sure.
you mean 1/8 BSPP, correct? 3/8 much bigger
see chart I posted. major Dia 9.7mm, I got 9.5 or so

do you know what "M" stands for in M1/8 BSPP? does that just mean "male"?

Thanks for your help! I spent way too much time on this. I was going to post on Practical machinist but then I remembered Garage Journal.
Andreani is the company.
If they were more responsive to emails, they probably could have told me right away what the fitting is on their bleeders. They never answered email
