Hello Everyone,

I have attached pics to this thread of a tool I am trying to identify. The item comes in a set as you will see in the background and is about the size of a 1/2 drive socket. Unlike a socket set, however, each item is the same size and has a different pattern of notches around the circumference - wondering if this is some type of key. The back of each socket-like item is a 6 sided protrusion that might fit into a wrench (second pic). There are no identification marks on the box or any of the items in the set.

Thanks in advance for helping.

Regards,
-John

It looks like a set of bicycle freewheel gear removal tools. The rear gearset has an inner hub/race that is keyed, and a matching tool is needed to remove it from the rear hub.
