Picked up a Mac box from a buddy's dad and he had a body shop business for years. He had some snappy and Mac photo ratches sockets etc, in the box are some tools, I have no idea what there for or any value. Advise please
First post: Reamers. Used in light machine work and fabrication work.
Second post: Ladyfingers. A type of prybar. Used by mechanics in various trades. Ironworkers, auto mechanics, etc.
Third post: Spanner wrenches. Also called pin wrenches. Used to be used by auto mechanics, still useful in some industrial mechanic settings. Still used for adjusting adjustable coil over struts used in aftermarket struts, for racing purposes.
First post has drill bits for the little push drill in the fourth post. Murphy, they do look like reamers, but if they came in that drill, they are its bits. I grew up with these push drills, although not that specific model.
Everything else, I either don't know, or agree with Murphy.
#1- Straight flute drill points for #4
#2-Prybars, Ladyfoot style
#3-Hook spanners, I can't say for what application
#4-Push drill, Looks like a Stanley copy(I can't make out the name)
#5-Hose clamp pliers
#6-Money! Those old Snap On body hammers can bring some bucks. I see 6 woth the octagonal handles.
#8-Shouldn't there be a spoon with that? That could bring a couple dollars too.
