Can anyone help me to identify just what this is used for?
It came with my Generac standby generator, and I've looked all through the manuals....no info anywhere.
Overall it's 4-3/8" long, and the silver portion is steel at .177" diameter, and the yellow is plastic at .255" diameter, black is rubber. Looks like "MAYBE" the silver end could be used to short out an electrical device or whatever....that's all I have to offer!

Yep... Used to reset the transfer switch...
But be careful... Read your transfer switch manual first... If not done correctly, you can break the switch... $$$

It is the manual transfer lever used in the transfer switch. There should be some plastic adhesive-backed clips to hold it in place while not in use.
