Help identifying a 2 Post Lift

Good Afternoon,
i'm in need of Help identifying a 2 Post Lift. it looks like a Weaver but i have been told no the only markings on it that i can see is the it is a 9000LB lift and a serial # stamped on the Base. that # is MMO139 and that # is on Both uprights. so any help would be great. i have call and talked to many people with no help.

i Painted it because it was sun bleached i called mohawk and sent them the pictures so we will see

Possibly Challenger? I'd say it's pretty old as it doesn't have the safety restraints on the arms.

Not sure what make and model that is but pretty certain it is not a Mohawk lift

That's a weird arm setup it has the way it steps like that. Most have more support.

I think someone modified the lift arms to fit under a low slung car.
might be extra careful in lifting Heavier cars and trucks.

Wow that is a good one! Those arms and the large backing plate they are mounted to are consistent with a Mohawk as the older Mohawk lifts had a VERY similar setup. But I do not recall ever seeing a Mohawk with an overhead bar like that either. Also on the arm setup, those arms slide over the backing plate to mount, where I believe Mohawk arms are on the inside (sleeved) on the backing plate. Im curious to see what you find out!

Well Here is an Update so i have sent pictures to Challenger, Mohawk Lifts and they have ruled that it's not there lift. but from Challenger they think it is a Manitowoc lift but i can not confirm that i am still looking. so if anyone has pictures of an old Manitowoc lift from the 80's that would be great thanks for all the help so far.

Well As it might turn out it might be a Bend Pak BP9 lift from the 80's when they built lifts in California. just waiting to hear from Bend Pak to see if they can confirm that.

I found this BP-9 that sold for auction. Yours has very unique baseplates, and the main columns are different as well compared to the BP-9. If your serial number starts with an MM, the BP-9 on the auction site appears to be numbers only. Im super curious to see what it ends up being.

OK, I think I found it. I am pretty sure it is a Forward Lift 9000C. The manual is from 1995, but if you look at manual for the Forward Lift 9000FP it has a better schematic of the lift. My money is all in on it being the 9000C model!

The Forward is cable, this is chain. Not the 9000C.

I was referring to the previous post about the forward lifts. Need a real picture of those to compare it to.

I have used these lifts from 93 thru 2007....Most common problems with it are the arm bushings and the external hydraulic hard line...except the hard line was located about 6 inches from the base floor.....to easy for it to get bumped and the elbow would crack dumping a load of fluid on the concrete. The name....Walker or Ben Pearson...

Did you ever get a positive id on that lift? I just bought the exact same one.
