Help identifying a ratchet?

So in my travels I spotted a gearing mechanism of what looked like a rather large ratchet. It was pretty rusty but is cleaning up nicely with some vinegar.
It has 24 teeth, two retaining balls for a socket, and measures to be 3/4 inch.
Any ideas what ratchet this may have belonged to?

I can't say for sure but my gut says proto pear head. Not sure if the large ones have dual ball detents though.

Thanks for the quick response!
Would anyone have any guesses on which particular model model of Snap On would it be, or from around which time period?
Hmm, if it is indeed a Snap On I'll likely just leave it around as a paperweight since finding the body to go with it would get rather expensive...

Hmm, still haven't figured out which one it might be.
Ideas welcome!
If anyone knows which brands had two ball detents that would help as well.
