Hope you don't mind me joining the party, but I need assistance in identifying a tool kit.

I bought this at a garage sale for $2.00. It looks and feels expensive, so I bought it, but I have no idea what it is. I mean I know the individual tools, but it seemed odd to me that these particular tools were put together in a kit. It seems like this grouping of tools has a specific purpose or name. So I came here in the hopes someone may know.

I can't find this exact kit anywhere, although it may be just a sample kit or something.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. If you need more photos or info, please let me know.

Thanks again

What you have is a very nice, absolutely worth the 2 dollar investment, USA made tool set. Apex Tool Group currently owns the Armstrong brand. Danaher used to own them. This is the company who made Craftsman tools in the USA for a long time in case the Danaher name sounds familiar to you.

That said, you already know it's not a vintage set but a hell of a nice kit to find laying around at a yard sale.

Welcome.
