Help Identifying a Vise

This was a vise that came out of my grandfather's shop. He has had it as long as I can remember. It sat in a deteriorating, leaky, humid shop for about 6 years before I had enough sense to rescue it. It worked just as well as the last time it was used.

I still need to get it mounted but does anyone have any clue what it may be? The best I can tell from my small amount of research is that it is some type of import. No marking anywhere and it looked as if it may have had a name/serial plate riveted to it that is now missing.

This is the closest thing I've found...

Hi Andy
Looks like a import. 99 9/10% sure. Value? $5 bucks and up but not much

That's okay, I'm good with that. Not really in it for the value as long as it will serve me as well as it did my grandfather. I have an older Columbian vise as well but I like the fact that this one turns. It makes it easier to work with sometimes.

If it's anything like any other import they're all the same with about 1000 different brand names on them.

Thanks for the response!
