We are in the process of prototyping a new lock system for work and need to make some adapters. We will need both the male and female portions either with a pigtail, as a complete cord which we can cut and use both ends or the bare unloaded connector with the accompanying metals inserts. Our overseas connection being on holiday is how we ended up here. Anyone have a name or part number for said items? A U.S. based source would be awesome. Voltage wise, it’s all 24vdc and below or a dry contact.
Thanks in advance
Scott

There is a brand logo molded onto the male connector body. We need to see that in order to confirm what it is.

Once you find the brand, the company will have specs and measurements that you can confirm the connector with.

They look like some type of Molex connector. Look on Mouser or Digikey. Maybe Terminal Supply also. If you look closely there is almost certainly a number or some type of identifying code.

In the past I have sent pictures of unknown ones to Mouser and they figured out what they were.

Thanks. I will reach out to them.

These aren't Molex and I don't recognize the makers mark on these. They could be a generic Chinese brand.

Here is a similar connector. You might try searching for similar terms (4 pin 1 row flat side locking electric connector) to find other options: https://aretronics.com/products/4-c...kGFJVsW_opmIK-39FQD2wNeaX175ao4LNE94ZM8&gQT=1

If your pins are 2.5mm on-center, I would guess that these pigtails will likely be a fit. However, there is no information on the spec and original manufacturer of the connector. Perhaps Aretronics would tell you?

I read all the comments, and I'm throwing this out for consideration. I sold and repaired computers for many years, and the Number one service call reason was dirty / corroded contacts. Go do a service call and take all the connectors apart and re-assemble and voila it worked.

I recently bought 5 x 2 pin connectors for$6.50

If serviceability or reliability are issues at your company this is something to look at.

I assume the OP needs these to fit an existing device, so not sure this would help.
