Good morning,
Hoping to find some help identifying vintage ball peen hammer as I cannot make out all the letters in the logo.

Logo is diamond shaped perimeter with lettering inside the diamond with the last 3 letters being what appears to be PLA, or last 2 letters LA and then M2 under the diamond.
Orange and cream colored fiberglass handle.

Will attach photos, any info or point in the right direction would be greatly appreciated.

Regards,
Jeremy L. Hamilton

New Plastic / New Plastic Corp., 1017 No. Sycamore Ave., Los Angeles, CA / "Nupla" hammer /

Nupla / Nupla Corp., 11912 Sheldon St., Sun Valley, CA 91352 / https://saundersmidwest.com/ / hammers, striking tools, edge tools, handles /

If I'm not mistaken it was originally "New Plastic Corp", then later "Nupla Corp", and it looks like they've been acquired as part of the "Saunders Midwest" group.

Nupla is the brand. Looks like they're still making plenty of new hammers too. Supposed to be pretty nice. Has been some discussion on whether they are the maker of blue point and snap on hammers I see.
Thank you for the info! 😎

Slightly OT but very interesting IMO, in the picture posted by four cycle of the hardware magazine from 1946, their is a short article on Ralph S Mueller. Fun fact (don't ask me why I know this...) he invented what we now know as the alligator clip.
