Let’s see if anyone can identify this Grinder, or give me some clues on where to start. Picked it up at an auction because it was bulky and had to have it, probably weighs nearly 100lbs.

Trying to figure out from the shape what it might be, any ideas on how to determine HP/Amps etc?

Thanks!

Looks like it has been around a while which could be a good thing. Try cleaning off the paint/grime from any thin sheet metal (data plate). At 460 volt, 3 phase, you won't be plugging it into a wall receptacle.

Any chance that raised center section is actually just a piece of metal strapping to hold the switch?

I highly doubt it but it's a unique feature and maybe there is a nameplate behind it or behind the switch?
