No I haven't seen it up close yet- it's over the pass from me (I live on Seattle and it's in Cle Elum) so it's a pain to get to (1.5 hours if the roads are good) I was thinking of renting an enclosed Uhaul trailer and going to look it/negotiate... but I wanted more info first.Ok, so that is a mid 2000's MB9600 series. MB9636 box with the MB9615 satellite rolling box and MB9635 docking station.
Also called the Ultimate Station box.
It is essentially a 5s that has been modified.
I think I have seen that box for sale. It is in the greater Seattle area? I would think $2k would be fair for it. 72" box right?
EDIT - I found it. 87"x30" box. Have you seen it up close?
Sorry- I couldn't get the seller to respond quick enough. I just hate being a jerk/lowballer. It's not exactly what I was looking for (too long) and it's definitely an odd ball with the docking station. I would buy it at $2k, but not more than that. Hate driving out there and trying under cut the guy by a 1/3, but it has been for sale for at least a couple months
Geezus MF, I saw an older Cornwell box on offer up and went go look at it. Guy was texting that his garage was a mess, box was a mess, yada yada. I wasn't too worried. It wasn't new, it was buried enough that I knew that it was in that garage for awhile. It was priced right. It didn't look stolen in the ad and I don't think it was, based on how much stuff was piled around it.
Walked into the garage (I texted him my exact arrival time with 40 minutes heads up, texted when I was 10 out) and I walked into a bunch of dim wits smoking meth.
Ran home, showered and changed my clothes.
Makes me NOT want to look at used box ever again.
