The barn garage has several different tool cabinets and workbenches. Recently the slides on one drawer on the 2-bay Matco gave way. Does anyone have any idea what model number this 14-drawer Matco might be since I forgot to write down the cabinet information before placing it against the wall? Thanks for your help.

I assuming drawer depth front to back is about 22" and box depth front to back is about 25"

If above correct it the MB7525 .

Drawer Slides are probably:
  • Brand - Accuride
  • Model - 3620326
  • Matco Slide P/N - CHRN-3620422
  • Length - 22"
  • Grey Rubber Detent Part - Accuride - Detent Bumper p/n 2327-2770-YE
  • Black Rubber Detent Part - Accuride - Sequencing Bumper p/n 2327-2680-YE

Thank you for the information. Yes, front to back on the Matco cabinet is about 25", side to side (only the Matco portion) is about 57", and with the counter-top it stands about 48" high. The Matco cabinet does possess the Accuride 3620326 slides. I did not realize the MB7525 was offered in multiple drawer configurations and thought the MB7525 came with only twelve drawers.

I got a couple of these boxes, proper nice boxes and make a great used box buy .
hopefully you source set of slides easy enough, i would consider a spare set or 2 .
When I done some slides I ended up getting a damaged box and salvaging slides from it so no real world experience on price/availability of direct fit new slides .

After viewing similar Matco cabinets and determining where individuals photograph the tag information, I moved the right portion of the Matco cabinet away from the wall and took the following photograph. The quality of the photograph isn't the best but did offer confirmation of the box model.

Are you going to order that missing drawer?
The drawer is not missing; it's standing vertically on its side between the gray and red cabinets in the first photograph posted in the thread because the Accurite slide broke. Look closely, and you will barely see the missing drawer nestled between the two cabinets. I ordered slides today.

I installed the new drawer slides today. The old slides seem a bit better, but.......

What are the "knobs" on the new drawer slides?

is it not a detent force adjustment ?
It possibly got numbered positions on the knob and you rotate the knob through the range to increase or decrease amount of force needed to get the drawer to start opening !?

Though the numbers are very difficult to read, numbers are present. I cannot tell where one reads the numbers, such as where is an arrow pointing to the right number, etc. I will likely call Accuride.
