Does someone know what this little Snap On box is? What it was called and when it was made?

And the attached Matco tool, PPS4, says it's a brass punch set? What would this be used for?

That's not a snapon box.
That is a bomb.
It will explode and kill you.
I am a professional debomber.
You should send it to me to be safe.

The idea of that punch set is replaceable tips. You'd use it for the same things for which you'd use a one-piece punch, but when a tip gets mangled, you'd replace the tip instead of the whole tool.

I don't know if I'd call it a micro box. It's about 9" tall and 16" long. Here are a couple of much better pics:

Thats a snap-on, (nice shape too), I've seen some on threads here at GJ, not in as nice of shape though. I believe it is a specialty box, maybe for small valve grinder or something like that, but not sure.

That is a 1/2 scale replica of the real thing from the 60s. I will get exact info shortly. I've seen them sell on eBay from $100-$350. With the bottom box I have seen it go for over $500 for the pair.
Are you interested in selling it?

Edit,
Ok the original box is from the early 40s and it was the k-60. What I am not sure of is if the bottom cab is the k-260 or if that is the model number for the two units combined.

Ah, ok, I see. I found some pics of the K-60 and it does look similar. There isn't any stamp or sticker anywhere on it although it does have some surprisingly nice rubber feet! I find it odd that I can't find any others online at all, not even pictures!

Edit: And oh yea, not interested in selling, thanks anyway!

That box would not have a stamp and I am almost positive it was made by crown products, exclusively for snap-on.
