I bought a box of old tools to get a Kabar knife. These items were included.
I think they could be nautical related.
The brass item appears to be a go no go guage,, one side is 5' the other is
3 3/16.

You have a scythe stone and a marlinespike, I don't know what the gauge is for. It could be for measuring crab or lobster shells for legal size. The hooks are hand made gate or door latch hooks.
Is the ivory-handled "knife" sharpened? It looks a lot thicker than a normal knife blade. It reminds me somewhat of a clam or oyster knife, but these are usually broader. Perhaps it's also used for lobster somehow.
