Hello Community,
Having some trouble confidently identifying this seemingly old Stanley Hammer.
I can make out the Stanley but cannot fully make out the other words underneath.
About a half inch under Stanley I can make out what I believe is a word that ends in "tain"

The hammer is a bees ear over 13" long with a weight of about 454 grams so 16oz and the head is 4 1/4" long.

Will attach photo of full hammer and close up of markings.

Any info or help at all would be awesome.

Thanks in advance
Regards,

Jeremy Lee Hamilton

I wonder if of British manufacture? Perhaps they had some different nomenclature.
