Help identifying this odd punch/seal driver?

We purchased 3 or 4 toolboxes from a friend that were full of msc odds and ends. his father was a mechanic that passed away quite a few years ago and the tools have all been in storage.

this is the one tool im having a hard time identifying what it does, or what its called. there are no numbers or names on it or else i would have started there. All it says is wear safety goggles. it must be a punch of some kind since the end is mushroomed. those different sized dies screw onto the ball end and can pivot.

And, thanks for aproving my account. Ive been a long time lurker, and finally had the need to create an account and ask a question. thanks in advance for any help.

My memory may be tricking me, but I believe those were used to install core plugs in V8 engines without removing engine from vehicle. Not sure how the leaking ones were removed.

Maybe somebody with a better memory will jump in.

That's exactly what it is. Plugs are usually removed with a rolling head pry bar.
