help identifying this tool

hi,
this is my first post on this site and i would first like to say hi. i was wondering
if anyone can help me identify this tool, and what it is used for.
i purchased the contents of a construction company awhile back and this was
in the tool room.

i know that it is a air blow gun, on one side it is stamped gnc and on the other
it is stamped 800 psi max. the handle is anodized aluminum and the barrel assem.
adjusts to regulate the flow of air. it had a really big air coupler on it but i removed
it and reduced down to hook up to my compressor, and it drained it quick.

this is a very well built piece and i searched thru google, ebay and graingers and
have come up with nothing. if anyone can help i would appreciate it.

Sandblasting gun?
Does the tip appear to be made from a very hard material like ceramic or carbide.

Not sure exactly what it is (sandblasting gun seems reasonable), but it sure is pretty!

sandblaster would have a ceramic tip also

Looks like a pneumatic rivet gun to me? Kind of hard to tell, though.

My first thought when I saw it was rivet gun too. Maybe it needed the big air line because it doesn't have the canister on the bottom like the other air ones do?

Could it be from an air grease gun or oil dispenser? You know the ones hooked up to a drum of oil or grease like in the auto shops?

thanks for the input, i thought it was a rivit gun at first also, but i took the nose apart and it is a adjustable blow gun only. there is only one inlet and its all aluminum so sand blasting would eat it up. it is a very well built tool, if i ever figure it out i will repost.

Looks like a lefthanded gilsenwhacker to me. Actually, a p-neumatic riveter was the first thing I though of, too.

looks to be just an adjustible blowgun
