Can anybody recognize this tool box? Owner said there is no marking and still waiting on measurements. For the price I probably buy it any ways, no lid but drawers are in working order and no rust.... Will see tomorrow.

Any feed back will be appreciated.

Thanks

Not sure on the brand, it looks pretty decent though especially for the price. I can't recall who use those drawer pulls, they are pretty different than most. That was probably a drop front chest that someone removed the entire top and front cover. It would make a good on a shelf box where you didn't have room to open the top.

Just a FYI, 26.5" and side handles is like narrowing a car down to 4 doors and 4 wheels. That is a standard box size and layout. The biggest help would be if we could get a picture of the drawer slides.

Interesting, what time frame is the box from? I'm just not familiar with those style rounded over drawer pulls. Finding info on old cornwell boxes is pretty challenging compared to snap on and the like.

I would guess late 60's early 70's??? :dunno:

I just looked(forgot I had pics of the box online) my pulls are not the same. I would still say its the same manufacture looking at the pics..

Yea I didn't think Cornwell used those pulls, but wasn't certain. Check the back, it should be stamped with the date. I almost want to say the box in question is a economy brand box, like stack on. The drawer pulls have me stumped. They way they round over and bolt on the inside is very different.

She has just arrive and I am not going to question her a bit. She blends very well with her partner and look as sexxxy as it can be. She could be Asian, European or American and still going to admire her for what she is ; not to mention what she is going to do as a keeper. Probably many guys has on her before but now is all mine and that's what matter to me...:pimpflash

Congrats on getting it, I really like your existing snap on stack. Are there any stampings on the back of the new box? I'm curious now who may have made it. Can you take a more from the side shot of the drawer slide please?

zkling, here more pics. Definitely no ball bearings , there is absolutely no stamping. Trust me I look around and no sign of it.

In resume, same lay out on top as the Cornwell, different handles in the drawers BTW they are attach with nuts and bolts, the drawer configuration is the same as the Cornwell and probable weight about 30 pounds seems well constructed +solid metal gauge but not as heavy as SO. unfortunately top is missing and all the info was there....

Lets see what happen.........just my $20
