Help identifying tool

Can anyone tell me what exactly this tool is or what it came from?

I got it from my dad, we use it in the sheet-metal industry for beating a Pittsburgh lock together.

I think it might be from a piece of machinery or something that was turned into a tool.

Maybe a caulking tool? I'm guessing that it is for packing something into position.

I think your right
looks a like modified lathe tooling ?

My dad had something similar for "squaring" up bends. There were others for creating an offset or groove or forming a seam.
Used them when creating flashing or doing duct work.

It's a hand held bolster/dolly for forming sheet metal

I have one about the same size. I was a union tinner and used it to set the flange in a Pittsburgh lock before bending over the outside flange with a setting hammer.
