Help Identifying Ugly Kitchen Faucet - Kohler?

Hello Folks,

This is our kitchen faucet. My wife thinks (and I agree) that it's the ugliest thing she's ever seen. I told her it reminds me of something you'd find on an autopsy table, so of course I think it would be perfect for my garage sink, lol!

I need to identify this monstrosity so I can fix it up. I think it may be a Kohler, as the person that built the house used Kohler everywhere. It was installed sometime around 2000 or 2001.

Any plumbers or interior designers out there who might give me a lead on identifying it? I need to know so I can hunt down some repair parts.

Thanks in advance!20220430_095020.jpg

Yikes. Hard telling unless there is a name stamped on it somewhere. The last faucets I’ve bought off eBay are no namers and work just fine. The ones at the big box store are atrocious.

Send picture to Kohler themselves - I've had very good luck with major plumbing hardware manufacturers identifying and supporting their products years later. But probably don't include the "it's the ugliest thing she's ever seen" comment - probably won't help your case ;-)

Dan at Pacific Sales in San Diego has not only shown himself to be very helpful, he has been nice to work with.

Rohl Acqui single-hole kitchen faucet ($890.00 on Amazon).

Wow - good job on finding that obscure faucet. Now that we know it sells for close to $900 on Amazon is it still ugly or maybe we are just to uncouth to appreciate the finer things in life?
Remember the early days of Windows - where you had screen savers to prevent burning in an image on your CRT monitor?
That faucet reminds me of the pipes screensaver.

I hate to say mean things about other people's plumbing, but I agree with your wife. I wouldn't be looking for repair parts, I'd be looking for a replacement. But you can turn it into a challenge: can you replace your faucet, with soap dispenser, for less than $1000? Game on!

Jeez, I sure hope so. And I do agree with my wife about the fugliness factor. It's outta here.
I'm even having second thoughts about using it in the garage.

ok, good - none of my business, but the thought of someone spending time and money repairing that was too alarming to remain silent. Now - maybe you can take it out and sell it on eBay for like $400 ("Half the price of new!"). I could see someone buying it for a steampunk-themed haunted house; or maybe for a really old prison, or a torture chamber. The possibilities are endless!

I don't see it as ugly .... it's not a good fit for the application. They look better is a simple setup with a farmhouse sink and with the spray head further to the right.

With cast you are stuck with the holes provided

The anti siphon never adds anything.

We have a Rohl in our kitchen, SS, the one with a spring and a high, arching flexible delivery hose. It was about twice what that one cost. I like it quite a bit, no issues and it's been in-service now about 4 years.

Rohl and Waterworks are two $$$ manufacturers who provide good customer service. Clean it up, service anything needing it, and sell it on ebay, I agree.

Yes, I used the pipes screensaver, and flying toasters too.
