Help Identifying Vise

So a few months back I picked up this big red vise. It needs a spindle assembly and a base. The sticker is long gone but it has 1780 printed in the side.

This past weekend I was at an auction and picked up the same exact vice! I now have two of these suckers. The black one is complete except for the end cap. It also has 1780 in raised lettering on the neck.

Everything I found led me to believe these are Wilton 1780s. They look almost identical to pictures I have seen of other Wilton 1780s (except for 8" and made in the USA in raised lettering on the side) The only problem with this theory is that they have 6" jaws not 8". The name plates are missing on both. They are heavy, easily 80+ lbs. The jaws open 6 1/2"

If anyone can identify them please let me know, that way I can get replacement parts for the red one.

It's a Wilton "machinest's" vise and to my knowledge parts are not available for it. I tried to find to find jaws for mine but had no luck what so ever!

Cheers
Steve

Turns out they just had abunch of dirt and such making the 6s look like 8s. They are definitely Wilton Tradesmans 1760s. I have located the parts I needed. Now I just need to decide if I should sell one to pay for the other or just bite the bullet and keep both.

Obviously, from your craigslist ad, you've decided to sell. Good luck!

If someone cares to pay me that much I'll sell it break even and have a working vise. Otherwise, I'll keep both and have two sweet Wilton's. I figure either way its win win.
