Help identifying vise

I bought an old Champion drill press and it came with a vise. The vise looks old but can only find two markings x 100 and MA 100. Has anybody heard of or seen this vise before?

One of our machinists might recognize the brand. All I can offer is that it appears to be an incomplete machining vise.

BTW - Nice 60s Craftsman bench vise! Take some photos and post to the vises of GJ thread in the general tools forum.

Your "vise" is a milling attachment for a lathe that is missing the angle bracket that bolts to the top of the compound (where the tool holder normally attaches). The stud you have clamped in the vise in the last photo attaches the "vise" to that angle plate, allowing it to be tilted for angled cuts. You are missing the "dynamic jaw" that is moved by the two set screws to clamp the workpiece. The whole "vise" is moved up and down by the crank on the end of the unit, which is normally oriented vertically, or nearly so.

Appreciate the information regarding the vise! Will have to take some pictures of the craftsman vise and upload it.

Ended up finding out the vise is a south bend vise. It appears the model number is cl2680t. Just missing the jaws and the 90 degree plate
