Hello again,
Found this in the attic. No idea what it is but I am guessing it is some sort of guide or sharpener? Everything is free and in good condition. It looks like an adjustable cutting edge?

Looks like it might have cast into it "EC TEARNS SYRAC NY"?

My G Grandfather and my Grandfather were carpenters and machinist for the Leigh Valley RR and I been finding lots of wood working and machining tools and some marked LVRR.

Is any of this collectible or just iron scrap?

Thanks for your time and any help,
Karl.
