I just recently picked up an old jack that my dad and grandpa used for many years. It was actually purchased with an old car lot that my great-grandpa bought some time in the 60's. Unfortunately, my grandpa has left it outside in the weather for the last few years and it's a little rusty. I started spraying it down today with Kroil oil in hope to be able to tear it down easier. I have also been trying to find information on it and cant find any. It was made in England for Watervliet tool co. I cant for sure make out the first letter on the cover, although it looks like an "F". It says (F?)ORTON but I can't find anything using any letters for the first. Was really surprised when I found the "Made in England" on the hydraulic unit. Well, enough rambling! Here's some pics
Thanks
