HELP is this a good deal Matco Tool Box

I have an option to buy a matco 4s triple bay box that is 2 years old for $1700. I will have to drive 300 miles each way to pick it up however boxes for sale in my area this size are hard to find and they want a new price. I haven't seen pics yet waiting for the owner to email them to me, he states the box is great shape with normal wear with no damage and all the slides work fine, my question is this a good deal or should I keep looking? Is the 4s a good quality box? In my area of tn/va snap-on classic 96's are priced from $2800 to $3500 in great shape couple years old. Is the matco 4s triple bay comparable in quality to the kra classic s/o boxes? What do you think?

Any triple bank for that price is worth it..Honestly I hope you didnt already miss the bus on this one..

I wouldn't drive 600 miles without better pictures, could be a great deal.

Price is about right. I'm in the Norfolk area. There are several listed in the 2200 range, but they haven't sold. The only ones I've seen sell where a blue one for $1200 and a red for $1600.

300 miles is a hell of a trip. I would ask for a ton of pictures or maybe offer the guy $200 to deliver it.

Also try Charlotte and Grenville SC Craigslist. I've found both to be packed with good stuff and looks like much close to you.

Good price I paid 1400 for my double bay 4s than got a side cab to make it a 3 bay for $250. They hold up great in a pro environment mine is 6 years old and side cab is 9 years old. That's quite the haul I'd want excellent pics and details befor I drove that far
