Help! Is this a Snap on Ferret ratchet?

I found this at a garage sale today. I thought I knew exactly what it was. Ratchet was completely jammed up, I only paid a few bucks for it. Cleaned and greased she works perfectly. Does not read Snap on or Ferret anywhere, the only marking on the shaft is AT-8022 (not sure about the T). The selector as well as the on off look like any other snap on ratchet. The date stamp looks like a very round capital G. What do I have here?

Made by snapon for a military tool kit. The G is for 1945.
