I justify a mix buying the better brand for each specific tool.

I just purchased a new tool box and when I start to stock it with tools I would like to have most of them from 1 line? I know that 1 company can't / doesn't always make the best of everything. I wouldn't be using these everyday either, just occasional repairs.
Just DON'T want to have a mixture like I do now.
Want to open a drawer and it look organized and matching tools.

I am just looking for a good quality tool brand that isn't real expensive, good warranty.

Grew up on Craftsman, dad always bought Craftsman so its hard to think about going with a different line.

Stanley. They own Craftsman now. They also own MAC, Irwin, Hanson, and every other company I deal with except Snap-on. They have top notch customer service, and aren't as expensive as Snap-on.

What I would suggest is that warranty is essentially a non-issue with any of these tools. The cheap ones are so inexpensive that warranty isn't worth your time, and the better ones are so unlikely to break or fail that warranty isn't needed. Unless you're one of those obsessive warranty guys that will work with Sears for a half hour to get a $1 screwdriver replaced.

I have had to replace 3 craftsman socket wrench handles and two Husky under warrantee. The HF handles keep on ticking.

Sears made me wait over a month for a refurbished replacement Craftsman 1/4" handle this year. It is already broken again.

I used sk for sae 3/8 drive
I used koken for metric in 3/8 drive
I used sk doe sae in 1/4 drive
I will use koken in 1/4 metric drive
I used proto for 1/2 metric.

I only own a handful of impacts.
I have Armstrong Maxx ratchets
Wright flex head
proto big dawg ratchets
Sk ratchets

I probably own too many ratchets but since I don't yet own them all my collection will probably just grow.

As mentioned by others, don't worry about having all your tools be the same brand. Only exception being cordless power tools, simply due to battery interchangeability. Other than that, whichever you can get the best deal on. My personal tool list goes from super high end stuff like Snap-On, Wright, and Matco all the way to Harbor Freight special, Husky, etc...

no one company makes the "best" of everything, or even all the specific tools you may want/need.

my working tools are mostly truck brands, with a few select industrial brands, as well as tekton, SK, kobalt, and HF.
i pick and choose what brand/quality i need for a specific purpose. in recent years the quality/price of some "lesser" brands has steered me to them.
i'm nearing the end of my working career, major investments into NEW truck brands doesnt make financial sense to me, when something less expensive will do the job i need it to do.
even for my non "working" tools and equipment, i buy based on availability, NEED and price.

garage tools are mainly CM and sk, with 'fill in's" and extras from truck brands to HF.
