What pump and HP ?
I'm deaf and I can hear them cut on. They are in the back room and I can't hear anyone talking while they're running

I asked Saylor Beall about those last year. They told me they are about $1,000 more and they usually only sell a couple of year, usually to municipalities.
That is interesting, are you a dealer or just a curious mind like me? I wonder why so much higher.... The 7.5 hp with the 707 pump isnt 1000 more than the 5hp with the 705 pump. Just because of it being a low seller?
I am not a dealer. I was looking to upgrade my air system and called around. Got to compare same HP. They said the 5 HP 707 was about $1,000 more than the 5 HP 705.
Ultimately I went with a pair of 5 HP Champion R15's. One nice thing about the R15 is that it only weighs about 105 pounds so you don't need hoists or the strength of Andre the Giant. The 705 is about 220 and the 707 is about 338 per the specs I saw.
Here is a run video of the SB 705 done by Saylor Beall

Personally I prefer the slower turning Champions. The 5 HP SB with a 707 pump would be very nice, and you can always upgrade it if you need more air later. Here is the 707 pump at 10 HP:
Their after cooler is slick.
I see what you are saying, i looked again, i was thinking the 705 5hp was less than a grand difference than the 707 7.5hp. and i was mistaken hah.
Was weight really that much of a factor in your purchase or was it more about the lower rpm of the champion?

I hate moving air compressors & didn't have a hoist and liked the slower running Champions, and no need for special tools to service, so it was a win-win-win.
The moving part went out the window when I bought a 120 gallon vertical 5HP R15. The tank itself weighs 400-425 pounds. It has 3/16" heads and a 1/4" shell. At first the 120 gallon looked YUGE but over time smaller tanks seem like babies.![]()
What do you do to use all that air?
On a side note where i work we have 550hp worth of air!
