I recently had an 18' X 12' concrete pad poured next to my garage which will act as supplemental work area and parking area (see pics). I'd like to put a coating on it that will allow me to wash off oil before it stains. I did a search on this forum, and also contacted two suppliers and got some recommendations, but I was hoping anyone with actual experience with any of these on an outdoor application could share their thoughts. I'm in Austin, TX, so lots of sun and heat.

Here are the recommendations I got from suppliers and this forum:
  • Use a densifier (I've seen "TL37" suggested), and then 2 coats of Ghostshield 8505
  • Armorpoxy suggested using Armorclad 100% solids epoxy kit with upgrade protective topcoat
  • Legacy Industrial suggested using HD6600MMA Concrete Sealer

Anyone used these and have pics/recommendations they'd like to share?

If it is a true mma I'd go that route. They are very uv stable. Polyaspartic would also work. There are also brands of solvent based acrylic sealers that can be tinted, while not very chemical resistant they are cheap and easy to apply
