Blue is much more calming than red. Probably useful during those 'AAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH' moments when you're ready to throw a hammer!

I like the red it is more lively and makes the cabinets standout more. I would go with a grey floor. The lighting that you use wll make a big diffrence.

Red. Definitely red.

Of course, as my father used to say "In matters of taste, there can be no dispute."

Blue, definately blue. Grey floor, dont mix in any checker board blue like they did the red, it's just too much.

Remember, the more color you have, the less reflectivity of light. I ended up repainting my walls to white-white so that I had better light.. and i regret doing so much black paint chips in my floor for the same reason.

A hint of blue tint can make a white look brighter. Knowing that and that this is my DREAM shop I looked at light blues. When I picked one I thought would go well with Smoke Gray cabinets and machines it turned out to be PPG's "Silver Lining" - how fitting. 55 gallons later I still feel it was a great choice, at least for my shop. IMHO, I think it would go great with your Gladiator cabs also.

Big Boo boo CORRECTION make that ICI "Silver Lining"

I have that same blue on my walls in my office. I'm staring at it right now. Sherwin Williams Dynamic Blue.

Well i didn't use sherwin williams but i did get a sample of blue burst by olympic from lowes. gonna try a little after while and see what it does. So far i have had more people suggest blue than red. but being from just outside lexington ky i may have to go with blue cause of the UK wildcats. God knows i can't go with Louisville red or thats what my wife suggested.

Definitely red IMO

Although I'm going with orange in mine. But I listen to BBC radio 2 to even out the yings and the yangs and bring harmony through classic tunes
