Ive been looking for a 5/8 and 15mm in deep and short in 1/4 drive and i cant find them anywhere. Im a big fan of craftsman sockets and my local sears doesn't have any, and ive probably looked a dozen times. I went to lowes last night to see what kobalt had to offer and they didnt have any either. Ive tried looking on ebay but haven't had any luck. So help me out guys!

NAPA carries those sizes in their current 55 piece 1/4" drive sets in both short and long in both of those sizes so I can assume you can buy or order just teh 4 from open stock from your local NAPA.

They should be US made too.

Pic of fulll 1/4" drive set from the NAPA thread shown below.

Craftsman starts at 5/32" to 9/16 and 4mm to 14mm in 1/4 "inch drive size (ask me about ocd and Hansen trays).

Try giving proto a call at at 1-800-800-tool

I hear ya, luckily I like my sockets on rails so I can take the whole rail with me under the vehicle but I have looked at the hansens but have so far been able to resist the temptation ! I agree that if I had them I would have to fill the damn things :lol_hitti

Yeah, I have rails too for that exact reason... The Hansen trays are nice, but they take up a lot of space (when compared to rails) and those damn empty pegs would have me doing a double-take thinking I misplaced a socket somewhere.

Fastenal has them, I got the Armstrong brand, they also list gear wrench in 6 point. Gear Wrench only in 12 point.

I've actually found that the rails DECREASED my drawer real estate. I've got so much more into the same square inches using the Hansen's, plus they are easy to locate when you need them.

My socket OCD is down to just four missing sockets, they are on order as we speak, not stocked everywhere and are being brought in by Fastenal for me.

From what I gathered, the NAPA NHT set I had shown above was US made thus Armstrong or one of their other US suppliers and NOT the Taiwan made Everlast line.

dudu you might want to dudu a little research before assuming and posting .
KTHNXBYE.

The sockets I bought from napa are Armstrong brand, the picture and the description of the sockets said Armstrong. The price also reflected them. Ring Armstrong and not a cheap china or tiawon import. I don't understand whY you say I need to do more research.

Sorry waterboy.

I was referring to dudu's post #6 above assuming the NAPA NHT tools I posted the pics of were Taiwanese vs. the obvious stament that they are currently not and US COO based upon the sets I see in person and current offerings of NHT. The Evercraft line, on the otherhand, is predominantly Asian made.

My comment was not aimed at you.
