It didn't come up until I eliminated the brand names and just used "Vintage Red Hammer Drill". I was about to give up at that point. Ironically "Red" is part of the brand name.

When I first read your post and clicked on the photos, I thought, "that's not Milwaukee, because the head is red and theirs are typically grey." Seemed extra funny that it is called a "Red Head" drill.

I like the "what's it?" threads. Thanks for posting.
