I'd like to think of myself as a snap on box expert, but this on has me stumped. I can't quite figure out a model number for the box below. Now before people say so I have never seen this box in person and have no plan on buying it or looking at it, I'm only interested in the model number for reference. I've seen a few of these boxes around they appear to be a early to late 90's krl box but without the side channel trim. It looks like its 24'' deep or so deep. Jay Leno has one and that's what got me thinking I've never seen this box exactly in any catalog. I any help would be appreciated.

I wonder, do you remember those stackable tool box bases snap on use to sell. You could combine them with butcher block tops to make benches out them. Pretty sure there was a caster kit for them. If someone has a 1995 catalogx I know those were in there to compare.

Looking at page 29 of the 1993 catalog

KRW36 Modular Storage Units 27" x 36" width x 33" height

Wood top, Casters and a KR handle were available as accessories

I like the style and the width of drawers. Did they ever offer a 36" matching top box or was the KRW36 only considered a "storage unit?"

The picture shows one stacked on top of another with no casters.
33.5" high x 2 units = 67" total height

There are different drawer configurations The actual numbers are
KRWA36, KRWB36, KRWC36 and KRWD36

The ones with no casters have skids on the bottom

You know what, I looked back over that page from the 95 catalog and noticed in the corner that casters and a handle were an option. I'm guessing these were more aimed for industrial use.
