I have an older compressor from the late 80's that has been put through its paces and is definitely ready for a rebuild if I can track down the parts.
The pump and motor are off of a Industrial Air brand compressor, however, the tank rotted out years ago and has since been replaced, hence the bright blue tank instead of the original metallic grey paint which matched the motor and pump.
The main reason for the rebuild is that the compressor needs about a half a quart of oil a month, as its pushing it through the lower seal between the crankcase and cylinder body, but beyond that, still runs strong, especially given that its running every 5~10 minutes for 8 hours a day, 5 days a week, every week of the year since the late 80's.
The only marking on the pump is "F2/50 Made in Italy"
The air filter is an custom addition, as the compressor never shipped with one and this was the easiest "bolt-on" way of adding air filters.
Any information about the pump manufacturer and / or where to locate parts would be greatly appreciated.
