I got some old grease from my grandfathers basement. Not sure exactly what the application for this stuff is. Was wondering if someone here had any information. First up is this alemite lubricant. Its pretty thick

This stuff is from keystone/pennwalt. Very silver, almost reminds me of antisieze but its not the same. Smells like the inside of a machine shop. Pretty thick stuff as well. [/IMG]

My grandfather used this stuff on everything. He passed 8 years ago so so he is not around to get the answers from. Thanks in advance!

The Alemite "gear shield" looks like a light grease you would use in a slow moving gear box and on slow moving exposed gears. The second looks like anti seez that needs to be stired up as it is go oil oozing and and needs mixing.
