i've picked up a couple of items recently and I need help figuring out details.

Can you tell me how old this one is and if it's a genuine Craftsman? I know it's been repainted and the Craftsman label looks like it's been screwed on as an after thought. There are no markings anywhere on the box other than the screwed on Craftsman badge. Is it a Craftsman and how old is it?

The second box is a Huot. Any idea how old this box may be? There doesn't seem to be much info on this box on the web.

Thanks in advance!

I have no idea. He's had it as long as I can remember, maybe since before I was born. Next time I talk to him I'll ask.
